You're better off with the dedicated rain-x than this, the cleaner + repellent isn't as potent. Rain X small bottle > spray bottle > wipes > aerosol bottle
I think most people miss the point of this, it's great for cleaning your windows that already have rain-x applied so you dont completely strip the coating when doing some quick cleaning.
Price is everything, RainX is good enough and cheap enough

Oh I would have to switch the small bottle and spray bottle. Spray bottle gets good even coverage without streaking.

What's better? I am almost out of my 15 year old bottle of rain-x.

Thanks

This stuff works great. Doesn't last as long, but it's easier to apply. I love this for rental cars.

Agree.
As a Wet Washington State driver, I found out how poor the spray is. Use it for a window cleaner, but didn't last but a couple of rains. Back to the bottle and elbow grease, for me.

Thank you, bought two bottles and canceled as I didn't realize this wasn't the dedicated stuff.

This stuff sucks. It's not great at cleaning or being a rain repellent.

Agreed! I don't need the best, just need it to work and cheap.

These are perfectly fine in wet Washington. Just apply once a month.

If you want the best outcome for the water repellency, try the japanese made "Glaco" by soft99. Just make sure use the glass strip agent to remove any old oil, residue, and coating, and apply the glaco, leave 24hr minimum to cure. Application is sorta pain in the ass, but man this fluoride based coatings work so well and so long term that it cant be compared with any other coatings
