Not sure why people are so against using gift card intermediary businesses like Raise but Fandango gift cards typically sit at a pretty consistent ~16% off. I've been using the service for YEARS and have never had a single issue with any of the gift cards I've purchased. They used to offer coupon codes every once in a while for certain stores but that seems to have changed in the last year or two. Still, around the holidays, there was a crazy good influx of Amazon (and other popular retailers) gift cards that drove the discount up. It isn't always worth it but I haven't purchased anything for Fandango or Fandango at home digital movies without grabbing gift cards from raise in years. Just took my daughters to see the new Lilo and Stitch movie on Friday with gift cards.

I know people are going to come out of the woodwork and complain about how they trust a physical card more than a website/app service that gives digital gift cards. I can't do anything to convince you other than give the testimonial that I have given. My own brother was skeptical for several years. He owns multiple rental properties and frequents Lowe's. When he finally tried the service, he admitted to me that he had been wrong and should have listened. This is a guy that doesn't admit he is wrong easily lol. When he shared how much money he had already saved (The service tracks what you pay vs what amount of credit in cards you receive over time which is actually kind of cool), I couldn't believe how much he had saved. It was well over $1K and that was a couple of years ago. I haven't hit those numbers yet but I'm also not renovating properties and investing in the things he has. I just check it before making a purchase or eating out to see if they have what I'm looking for at a discount that makes it worthwhile.

Anyway, before all of the 👎 start accruing, I'll just say that you can check my comment history. I'm not benefiting from this recommendation and, honestly, the fewer people that know about it, the better the discounts are so I'm not doing myself any favors. I'm legitimately trying to give people another option to, at the very least, explore.
