Last time I ordered $100 worth for $80 and it only had $80 of value. Same company, ACI. Anyone else have this experience? Amazon took care of it after a few calls, but it was time consuming for sure.
If you actually want to eat there, you're going to spend a fortune. What you do is get a take-home order. You get just the stuff you want and you can stuff the container full and it usually runs around $15. It feeds my whole family and no cost for drink or gratuity.

Why do take home with a buffet???????????????????????

how many lbs can you take out in that $15 box? how many in your household?
unless you eat with something else thats already available in your house, a $15 box food will not feed 1 person, let along your "whole family". and nonody forces you to buy a drink there.

This is a really good deal. For Golden Corral, the app rewards also get you about 10% off your buffet (you accumulate 10% of your pre-tax order, at $10 worth of points, you can activate the reward and apply it to your meal for $ off), which can be combined with using your gift card. The buffet is already relatively affordable, but this makes it even better. Combine this with Chase 5% cash back on Amazon this quarter and you're eating well on the cheap! Healthy and hearty options at the buffet too, something for everyone.

My wife and I go to CG, we lovingly call it "The Trough", every Sunday for early morning breakfast before church. We get anything and everything we want and more, and it only costs us $31 after tax. We cant go through the drive-thru at Chickfila for less than that; and only get biscuit combos.
As a previous poster mentioned, combining this with the 10% back in loyalty-points makes this a really slick deal for my wife and I. YMMV.
Why fork over a fortune for second-rate fast food, when you can get the same diarrhea from eating a steak instead?

$15 = about 2 pounds of food if you go during lunch (11-4). I do this all the time. Avoid the mashed potatoes. Too heavy. You could also get their togo plate specials which at my location are $10.99.
Be careful, the last time they had this same deal, the gift card only had 40$ each. talked to amazon CS but they would not honor the deal. check your balance. you can read from people on pervious thread. to be safe highly recommend you screen shot the page where it shows $40 for 50$.

We bought a few of these but they didn't give us the full value last time, only $40 out of the $50. Same company, ACI. Amazon eventually refunded us and took them back but it was a hassle and very time consuming. Anyone else have this experience?
