Anyone have one? Seems like it should be a $49 item. Guess that's the Milwaukee tax.

Not a charger either, despite taking AC.

Can confirm, bought one for full price because I needed it but guess what, lasts literal days on medium with a 12.0 M18 battery of which I have many M18 batteries and my wife is a big fan of the fan

I don't own it, but have tested it at home depot, and honestly this seems on par for strength/build with those Chinese fans you can get online for $20-30, and those Chinese fans also have built in lights and rechargeable batteries. The only major advantage for this is that it locks into the packout with no modification, and that you can quick swap batteries if you have no power source, but you could easily get one of those cleats for any other fan, and you could get a cheap power bank to power the Chinese fan as well. So I'd give the heavy win to the Chinese fan.

Side note: I'm mostly typing this out for a reminder for myself so I don't impulse buy this fan 🤣

Bought one and can honestly say it is underwhelming. I have the ryobi fan as well and prefer that one over this one by a landslide.

I have the older one. Is this one noticeably better?

Yup that's how I feel in general. I went ryobi and my FIL went Milwaukee. We both bought homes within the last few years so there's been projects galore. Depending on the tool, there's aspects I like with each brand. BUT considering he paid a good 3x more, ryobi was the right choice imo.

Spec wise it says it puts out air at 20mph vs the old one at 14mph. But the old one pumped about 450cfm vs this is 800. Been debating this myself as I have the old one.

I have friends and family with those chinese fans you're talking about. This Milwaukee blows them out of the water. I use this every day for work and bowling. It's worth it for this price. On a 5.0ah battery it lasts me 4 days on medium and about 5 hours on full. Way better than the previous model that only had 3 speeds.

Yes it is. The older one rattle and make noise even at the lowest setting.

If you write "PACKOUT" on something it instantly doubles in value.
