This seems to be a reasonable deal, especially for a new product.

I'd love to get this over the one where you can only access it from the top

However I'll wait for a better deal

The mercedes of toolboxes, is it nice? Yes but there are other cheaper options that are close in terms of functionality.

Literally popped up on my suggested deals here. Unless you're in need of the packout system - id rock this and save $150
Ps. I'm a Milwaukee whore but $200+ for a rolling plastic box is stupid

These are hard to find at Home Depot right now. I got the only one left in my area but I'll be returning it and going with this deal. Nice find.

Ridgid could be the best bang for the buck at the moment, they also got a bottom drawer like this Milwaukee one. I have dewalt toughsystem 2.0 but if I were buying new I would do the new ridgid system.

I wouldn't necessarily call it the 'Mercedes' - it's still mostly plastic (albeit rigid), with a decent amount of reinforcement. The multi-drawer units that have been available for a while do sag/drag a bit if loaded fairly heavy. But they're also made to be lifted up/into a vehicle, to be fair.

First time seeing these available, at any rate. Long time coming, glad they're finally available but $212 still seems a bit much. I'll probably wait until I can at least get eyes & hands on one in a store - as much as I'd like this rolling drawer base for my other packout units.

No drawer slides. Small wheels on the bottom of drawer If you are always on smooth, clean finish floors I suppose. Wonder what the price would be if it had slides installed?

If you don't need the accessories the rigid is better. I really like having the three drawers on the bottom and the big tool chest on top. Been using my setup for over a year and it's just as good as new. I returned a huge Milwaukee pack out setup for it. also the rigid wheels being so wide is very stable. and then another bonus is the rigid wheels come off and go on any tool kit. so sometimes I just need the three drawers and I have wheels on it. sometimes I just need the big tool chest and I have wheels on it. It's the only true modular, and this is coming from someone who has Milwaukee only inside of it lol

The drawer isn't made with slides because the slides become a failure point at a certain box weight. Eliminating slides and just using wheels allows for more capacity in the box. That said, I got lucky and found one of these at home Depot and it's great. I wish it was a little cheaper, but sure as heck beats having to unload all the boxes on top just to lift up the bottom lid.

I own a LOT of packout system...but lets be real - Milwaukee are WAY too proud of their product...yes its the best you can buy but vastly overpriced. I would highly recommend going with Ridgid or whatever fits your budget/needs.
