I got one a similar deal last time. The usb c charging speed is so slow, only like 8 watt for my iPhone. Kind of defeats the purpose of this thing. You'd expect that it charges iPhone at at least close to 20w in order to just bring this one cable for travel. I ended up retuning it.

Yeah these are great in theory but the output power on those I have tried has been disappointing.

Yeah unless it's doing some fancy stuff in there (and I guarantee it's not) it's going to be the same voltage across the three outputs, which would have to be 5V because that's what the Apple Watch charges at. Looking at the bin of chargers I have, even the versatile high powered PD ones only do 3A maximum at 5V, so you're spreading 15w out over all 3 plugs. That's not much at all.

Same here! I kept it because it's so practical for travel

I understand that most everyone wants a cable capable of fast charging, but slow charging is better for your battery. I'd use this for overnight charging where the lower wattage will have the phone run cooler.

Were you charging multiple devices simultaneously or one at a time?

Got this last time, agree with other comments saying it's slow. It's fine for in-car if you're just keeping your battery topped off/preventing drain from CarPlay. However my watch (series 5) won't charge unless something else (i.e phone) is also charging. Not sure if it's related to my car outlet or not, just something to be weary of

On those rare occasions when you need the Apple Watch charger while driving, it's perfect. Coupon only works for pink. Picked one up to try.

i bought a couple of similar brands, probably all made in the same factory, and keep them in my travel bags. it's perfect for charging all my stuff, just don't expect it to be as robust as a dedicated usb c charger

That's a bit of overkill. Sure quick charging can be harder on your battery but we are talking about sub 30 minute charges to 80+ %. Anything taking over an hour to get from empty to full at a relatively flat charging speed is not even close to quick charging anymore and is plenty gentle on the battery. 1C ( charging from 0-100 in 1 hour) is not hard on a battery. Going down to some silly .2C charging rate isn't any easier on your battery from the charging perspective.

ow getting it to 100% after an hour or two and holding it there for the rest of the night is not ideal but Apple will automagically stop charging at 80% and wait until just before you get up to finish it off or you can set newer phones to limit the charge to 80 or 90% all the time. On Android YMMV but a lot of phones have similar features.
