Alaska only flies small B737 narrowbodies while Hawaiian flies A330 and B787 widebodies with lie flat seats and first class suites. Hawaiian flies the A321 to Maui which is similar size to the B737. Hawaiian has some less restrictive pet polices than Alaska.
