The total cost to ship and to send it back and get another one was about the same as a new rotor so I just went with another vendor with much lower shipping.

Different situation. I bought four rotors and one of them was packaged poorly and I was concerned about it being damaged. And they just sent me a new one without asking me to send it back.
This. And the oil is always cheaper. Even with shipping the savings is significant.
