Be mindful when purchasing this if you plan on using an Asrock motherboard and AMD CPU..there have been several issues with the combination. I would advise checking the asrock subreddit if you plan on using their mobo. My rig uses a gigabyte 9070 amd 9 9900
And asrock 8650 lightning which is running fairly well needed to undervolt in bios.

The only problem is this model consistently sells over 800$….

Remember when gpu was below 25% of a system.. I do.

9060xt stock doesn't seem that bad for 16gb version, Retail $350 and I see some around that, in and out of stock, at various websites. Both solid options around retail. Also the $250ish saved could upgrade him something else or just save you money in general.
I would have gone for one of those or a 5060ti 16gb, but he had his mind set on taking a step up. I'm no AMD hater, but I was really hoping to grab a 5070 for the wider NVIDIA feature set. Going for the additional VRAM is a purely future-proofing decision since his current use doesn't really call for anything crazy. Guess we'll see if it was worth it in due time.

yea but who knows if that pricing is real or not. The only reason this deal is even being posted is because of all the 'fake' amd msrp pricing of 9070

Ugly? Are you staring at it or playing games with it?

Amen....haven't bought a GPU since the 3090. Going to keep waiting. Luckily I was insulated with 24gb of ram, but I understand that certainly isn't the case for everyone. Man, I couldn't have imagined this terrible GPU market would have lasted so many years....

Was gonna wait out this insane market before upgrading. But newegg offered me $220 on trade in for my rtx 4060 8gb that I paid $300 for last year.

I've heard bad things about their trade in program rejecting a lot of cards.

Got a XFX Swift 9060 XT 16GB from Amazon last week at Retail $349 (jumped on it immediately given the crazy GPU pricing beyond msrp. Now it's ''currently unavailable'.

It may pop back on/off, so keep an eye on it.
