For those interested in the salted dry roasted, they changed their recipe fairly recently and added more sugar. Sugar moved up on the list of ingredients on the bottle compared to what Amazon had posted. Way too sweet for a product that is supposed to be salty.

Nice deal, but they contain too many ingredients that don't belong

Seriously, they're adding sugar to salted peanuts? I like the sweet and spicy for a change but usually get store brand unsalted. Also noticed, a lot of skins lately in Planters, too.

Salted ingredients, looks weird:
Peanuts, Sea Salt, Spices (Celery), Dried Onion, Dried Garlic, Paprika, Natural Flavor, Sugar, Gelatin, Torula Yeast, Cornstarch, Dried Corn Syrup, Maltodextrin.

Same here in MN. They also often charge on solar components. The seller says Amazon is charging the tax and Amazon says seller has item listed incorrectly.

Yup. I NEVER thought about this. New Jersey doesn't charge tax on food, so should I be going back and checking for all my food items and call and ask them to refund all the sales tax?

Anyone ever done this successfully?

I like the Fisher dry roasted which have had onion and garlic gor ages. The celery is mostly a lie and it's almost certainly processed to extract the MSG w/o having to list MSG - see this a lot on "no added MSG except from naturally occuring in celery".

sales tax is one thing you don't screw around with as a retailer. The state takes that very seriously. It's more than likely that Amazon is charging tax where they should not.

It's time consuming to have to call Amazon every time to save a few cents on sales tax, it sounds like a class action kinda lawsuit that Amazon will end up paying hundreds of millions for, and after the lawyers get their cut, we, the customers would get 2 cents each!

I have had Amazon charge tax on items in my Amazon Fresh orders that should not have been taxed. We order a huge amount through Fresh
