It's obvious if you're an engineer I guess, or after it's pointed out... Hindsight, after all, is 20/20. Anything that conducts a signal over a surface that is not very conductive (such as these fitted tips to make the USB-C tip become a USB-A tip) instead of a very conductive surface, such as a solid line of copper wire, loses a good deal of the signal/power in the translation. Not to mention that USB-A can't conduct as much wattage as it's USB-C counterpart. Instead of charging at 65 watts, you might be lucky to get 12 watts or even 5 watts. Likely that's fine for most charging purposes, but if you want "fast" charging, which is admittedly harder on your battery, this isn't it. Likewise if you want to flash a ROM over this cable, you'll probably have too much signal loss.
