How does it perform on calls and running? I'm debating between this and Apple because I'm in the Apple system and such.. but I like something I can take calls crisp and on go and while running sweat proof

Very usable for Zoom, phone, or casual work calls. Might not be your go-to if you're on frequent business calls in chaotic environments. If you're running often or doing high-impact workouts, you might consider something like the Jabra Elite 8 Active or Beats Fit Pro, which have extra stability features around the ear. But for general use, the JBL Tour Pro 2 performs very well for both calls and moderate activity.

thanks for the comment. I'm looking to get my first wireless earbuds. I tried the galaxy's once but didn't like not having a stem because I would constantly accidentally change track or volume trying to adjust the earbud. But these sound pretty promising and are also half off which seems like a solid deal.
How are the touch controls on these, can you adjust what gestures do what? And are they pretty easy to adjust the earbud without accidentally changing tracks, etc.?

Touch controls on the JBL Tour Pro 2: Super responsive, customizable in the app (playback, ANC, volume, etc.) perhaps a bit too sensitive, easy to skip a track when adjusting fit. Pro tip: grip the stem, not the surface, to avoid accidental taps.

Sadly, Jabra Elite 8 Active are no longer sold as Jabra exited the high end ear bud market If you can find a pair I hear they are excellent though don't expect the app to be supported long term.
Your best bet are the Beats Fit Pro for workout/active friendly ear buds. Personally, I went with a low cost EarFun Air Pro 4 that was on sale for $50 as I'm hopeful/waiting to see if the Beats Fit Pro 2 rumors are true: https://www.simplymac.com/airpods...early-2026

How does it compare to the Buds3 pro of Samsungs which is around this price - albeit it's the international version ? Thanks. I have been looking at Liberty 4NC primarily for voice calls and it's also on sale . Any idea which is better for calls on android .

So these are too big for my wifes ears. However they fit 100% perfect in mine. They are actually very nice. The ANC is high quality and there are a lot of custom settings. These will be perfect to pair with my over the ear Sony X4's for long haul flights. The earbuds are easier when trying to sleep.
