Only 100 lumens this flashlight is outdated, understand if you're in the Red platform but you can find much cheaper rechargeable flashlights/worklights with even more features for less. Dewalt has one on woot that popped up today it's in the same boat with the lumens output. Do some research before considering these lights IMO.

This light is absolute outdated garbage
It's only 100 Lumens.
Hard pass, even if it was free.

Out of Stock.

FWIW, i use these with old M12 batteries that are no longer useful for power tools due to age / lower capacity. Since they are magnetic, I leave a couple hanging on the side of the refrigerator. They are less likely to get misappropriated for a camping trip or project so they are always here needed in a pinch.

I have both and use both regularly. This is a pretty basic flashlight in terms of features, but it has it's place. If I could only have one, I'd have the rover.

It really depends on your uses and requirements, light weight, long lasting battery and batteries you already have. Find a couple that meets your needs.

I've a 3rd party 16 LED 60W 6000 lumen light for Dewalt 20V platform and one for the Milwaukee 18V platform. I paid $13.19 for the Dewalt and more for the Milwaukee version. Two brightness level and it's super bright on high. The drawback is that battery drain if you don't take the battery off.
