I also had a rare find at a local REI Re-Supply store (the branch that sells REI returned merchandise and discontinued inventory to REI Co-Op members): Altra Lone Peak 9+ for $83 (sold As-Is, no returns), they were in near new condition, the outsoles were pristine (with some signs of being walked in indoors), the shoe was clean inside and out, it appeared to be a buyer's remorse return in my opinion. The Lone Peak 9+ regularly retails for $155 on REI's website.
Also at the REI Re-Supply store I have seen brands like Xero and Topo Athletic, both have that roomier toebox compared to more conventional athletic shoe brands
