It's out of stock at 4-5 stores, and available everywhere else.

It's a good deal if we talk about just 50xx series but to compare apples to apples rtx 4090 powered (175w) were selling for 2200+ before the launch of 50xx series laptops! But again newer gen better cores and other things! If you want raw power try to get a 4090 or 4080 they scale really well with power and performance but if you're looking for a 50xx series this is a great piece if hardware! Can't go wrong with either

Solid deal for a premium gaming laptop with premium build (stiff frame, tank build) and premium cooling with workstation features (Great screen quality, Thunderbolt 4, 140w USB charging), but a dog on battery life compared to ultraporables. If you need windows gaming its a good laptop. I have the previous generation Legion Pro 7 which I prefer to my Legion Pro 5. I got my Legion 7 with RTX 4080 for $1800 on sale, but it was routinely on sale for $2000. RTX 5070Ti mobile seems comparable to the RTX4080 (within +/-10%). Will stick to my last gen Legion Pro 7 with 4080. OLED in this generation is interesting vs IPS on the previous generation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLVi0d1lc3Q for a comparison of high wattage laptop 5070ti vs 4080.

I got my 13th gen i9 4080 for like 2000, I think part of what made them cheaper at that time, was the debacle of the desktop processors of that gen messing up

This week Omen Max 16 with RTX 5080 was under $2000 and one with RTX 5070 Ti was about $1300. Those deals are expired now but may happen again.

I have the 11th generation intel with a 3070 and it still functions like the day I bought it?

Why is this cheaper than the 7i model from the Lenovo site? Can't find differences online

I had the 4080 13th gen i9 version for a while, great laptop. While looking for that gen used (4090 offers a performance bump and more vram, but runs hot without a cooling pad) is worth a shot, the 240hz OLED is a much better screen. My laptop daily and the one that I kept is a 3070ti Razer with a 240hz QHD without G-Sync, I chose to use it over the 4080 and its solid IPS screen because the OLED is so much better. If shopping, I would pick this one just for the better screen.

Do keep in mind the previous gen Lenovos were nice and stealth in terms of looks, this one is quite a bit flashier looking.
