I grabbed this last time and I was blown away by how high quality this set is. Don't sleep on this if you need a BBQ set or you need to replace your old set

I just got this today, for this price it's a steal. The metal is very weighted and feels high end, but I'm sure if I got very thorough with it, it wouldn't compare to my Japanese knife collections. For its use case of bbq, this would be above and beyond at first glance.

I'm in for one, I don't really have a direct to need for it right now but I'm sure I can use it in the future. I've got just random miscellaneous barbecue stuff but I guess have a good kit would be nice

Was on the fence about this deal when it was $20, wanted the set for the brisket knives alone. Snagged it now. Thanks OP!

I want the carving fork purely as a pizza air bubble poker for my outside oven. I feel like the knives alone are easily worth $10-15 each even as budget bbq caliber.

Thanks OP. I am currently working with the most miserable set of grill tools... really just the case is a POS. The case is terrible and pops open, tools fly out of their slots constantly. For 17 bucks, I am okay with now having to deal with that headache any more.

I've seen the Cuisinart set posted here on SD - Avoid it at all costs.

In my experience a stamped steel knife doesn't have a flare in the metal where it meets the handle like these do. How can you tell these are stamped?

I don't have any experience with this set so I am legit asking.

E: the details for this set say they are forged too I just discovered for myself.

I am holding the set in my hand right now. The knives, carving fork and spatula are clearly forged. The tongs are stamped. For ~$2.70 a piece these are a great deal. I'm not sure why anyone who knows anything about kitchen cutlery would think these are stamped.

it says forged in the description for that reason I bought it. When I got, I ran the sharpening steel on them. It seems very soft to me compare to other forge knife I have. Handles are well built for sure, but knifes are not as good I was expecting

Dang, I guess "German Steel" isn't all it's cracked up to be.
