I've been tracking this TV for a few months, recently it's been around $1700 on both Samsung and Amazon. I think I'll pull the trigger on this 77", I was going to see if the 2025 model went down enough to warrant that purchase but it's a big price gap.

Supposedly later manufactured versions of the S90D have the revised power supply. Hard to say though if that is what would be received. I guess it would be a gamble regardless.

Never mind, after researching on the issue I just cancelled my order. I do not play a $2,300 lotto ticket buying directly from Samsung or LG. If it was Costco, I am willing to play the TV lotto.

Apparently this is a very common issue. I looked this product up on Costco review and the more recent reviews mentioned power supply issue being common denominator.
