I was surprised, they fit well, true to size and not too bad. They are not well padded, but should be ok for a basic walking shoe. They're really colorful and cute, the purple pair was same price too. They will be fine for my home workouts and if not, great look for yard work!

Treat your feet well..you use them 16-17 hours a day. Not worth cheaping out on shoes. Personally I'm a big fan of the Under Armor Charged Commit for an everyday walking shoe. They're usually about $40-50 on sale.

Funny, I've got a collection of Under Armour Charged and Shadow series shoes, those are my go to with a few Nike's and New Balance thrown in. These Avia are just fine for shopping and basic wear. But yes, don't wear anything that's not comfortable or a bad fit.

I've bought several shoes of this brand for my kids. It's definitely lower quality, but my kid's outgrow it before the shoe is ruined. It's worth it.

What is funny is you will talk to other folks who think you need to spend $100, or more for a quality athletic shoe. Personally, I buy shoes when I can get them for $40 or less. I have purchased countless pairs off SD'd which started at or over $100 and I was able to get for very cheap prices. I got a pair of these for a friend who loves purple shoes.
