I'm trying to figure out how to get access to the partner store without having an employer in the program, as it seems LG only do sales for partner/military/EDU…

So you just signed up to the Hulu basic package and were able to get access to the partner store?

Jumped on this, was waiting for a deal on the G5. Used the Hulu signup to get the G5 77 for $3149 + tax. The soundbar was OOS, so definitely less slick, but I'll take it! G4 to G5 is a fairly large year over year improvement if anyone was trying to decide between the two.

They just added an additional promo for new G5/83"C5 models for the S90TR soundbar. About $400 less, but I figure if I can sell it for $500 then i'm out the door for $3400-$500-$204 (4% Amex + 2% CB site) =$2,696, or basically matching the current GT deal for the 77" G4

Looks like the soundbar is back in stock, just got my confirmation email.
Ordering process and their website are trash, specifically whatever anti fraud abomination they use. Tried different browsers, PayPal, and multiple CCs . Finally managed to get an order through from my phone via Apple Pay… notably PayPal through the phone also failed.

Count me in on this deal - purchased. Delivery & Setup by Friday. Selling the soundbar set though to make the deal even sweeter since I already have a Sonos setup. I used the Hulu deal with Tmobile plan that gets you basic Hulu for free.

Any current owners of the G5? Any tips or info?

I'm not seeing the free sound bar anywhere, only 50% off a sound bar and free air purifier. the s95tr doesn't come up on the partner store only in the regular. would've liked to sell the free sound bar to offset the cost even more.
