Same price on Amazon after coupon [amazon.com].

Hard to see what the use case is for this, though (compared with a less expensive mini PC with a cheaper CPU), at least as a Windows workstation. You can't add a graphics card, at least not easily (and NVME slot can be converted to PCIe, but you'll need a conversion cable and an external cabinet), and the graphics performance of this cpu is mediocre. 64GB is way more than you'd need for Windows 11, especially if you don't have anything to accelerate graphics.
I can see using this as a linux server, though.

You can get the same PC for $520 [amazon.com] with only 32GB of RAM.

The solutions architects at my work get stuff like this for demoing some kubernetes software. Basically makes it so they can have decent cores and memory for a home lab and then easily pack it into a pelican case to bring to shows and customer meetings.

Seems top notch but the lack of usb4/oculink is very disappointing. An epu and this could play modern aaa games with ease.

Waaaay overpriced for a CPU 4 generations back. This is also one of the CPUs on Intel's list prone to failures from overvolting and overclocking default from the factory. thry are literally getting sued for this. I wouldn't trust this CPU except for watching movies or browsing the web.

Isn't this the laptop variant of the cpu which wasn't impacted by that? Also hasn't Intel had a fix out for quite awhile even if it was? There isn't always a need to be on the latest generation of processor.
