Bought this a month ago came with very short expiration dates and the meat is very dry. There were no visible broth or liquid in the packages. I had to cut/shred the chicken into smaller pieces or the cats won't eat them.

I got tuna in tuna broth and chicken in chicken broth from Meh.com (products usually go to SideDeal for a few bucks more after they show up on Meh as a daily deal). You get way more chicken per pack than tuna (0.9 oz vs 0.52 oz), but my cats love the tuna and are lukewarm on the chicken (the strays feel the same but the bar is far lower for them when it comes to gourmet food [see: not dumpster trash] so they inhale them both—they just yell a little louder when they smell the tuna lol).

There is some "broth" in these but not much. I just add a little water after I get the fillet out & add it to the bowl, it rehydrates the meat no problem. As for expiry date: I wouldn't worry about it in a climate controlled environment unless you're planning on leaving them for a couple years (my cats wouldn't allow it).

My biggest gripe about these is the tuna smell stays on my hands. This is a no-brainer of a deal if you like your cats or need a little incentive every now and then to get them to eat. It took precisely 1 feeding for them to recognize the package and go batshit when they hear the crinkling. ( ‾ ʖ̫ ‾)

My last order was chicken and shrimp broth. There was NO broth and the chicken was dry. Two cats refused to eat it even mixed with wet food.

Exactly, no broth, but the chicken does smell good though. What I do now is shred the chicken and mix it with a bag of Delectables Bisque with chicken to make it moist. Cats lick their bowls clean. More expensive this way but I love my cats.

I don't think they are meant to have a lot of broth. I bought the same exact flavor (chicken in shrimp broth) and each packet has a very small amount of broth in it. Texture-wise it seems comparable to canned chicken. My cats all go crazy for it. Best by date is 10/28/25.

"Hand-cut." Imagine sharing what you do for work on a first date when it's this… AND, she's a dog person.

Unless they are a vegetarian, I doubt a dog owner would have a problem dating a butcher….
