I would get this over the 16 just for the ports alone.

Can anyone verify the refresh rate? Gigabyte's website doesn't list a refresh rate for the OLED models, so i assume its 60hz?

The issue with refurbished gaming notebooks is that they're mostly returned because of over-heating. I purchased a refurb from a slickdeal a year or two ago, and had to take it apart and "fix" it myself, where "fix" means: figure out where the heat transfer isn't working correctly, and apply the necessary materials there, then re-assemble in a way that insures that the gaps stay stable for a few years so the heat transfer material doesn't crack and dry out too fast.

So if you have technical experience with system building, these refurb gaming notebooks are great. If you don't, you may be rolling the dice ... so get the stupid expensive 5 year purchase warranty or whatever it is called where they insure your purchase against breaking.
