PowerPro braid has worked great on all my rods but at this price it might be worth buying to try.

Thanks OP for posting a fishing deal!

I think EZ braid has very bad rep. Although I had never used this brands products, many have good luck with their stealth products. I agree, as commented here PowerPro is the proven braid which I exclusively use in all my spinning reels. Regardless this is a good price for the length of spool.

Berkley big game is ~ $11 for 350 yd 10-15lb test, I'd get that over this line anyway.

Any non-fishing uses for this? Perhaps for setting traps to catch burglars if I'm left home alone?

I'm lost these days when it comes to these new line types and lbs test vs diameter and smooth spin casting. Back in the day I use to use monofilament at 6 to 10 lbs test for Midwest freshwater fishing. So should I use the 10 lbs of this new style? Is 15 lbs going to be too thick, or are these new lines slimmer than mono?

10lb braid is easier to cast than 6-10lb mono and doesn't have any memory. It's really a big difference and even 15lbs wouldn't be too thick.

This stuff is a little rough feeling and stiffer than expensive stuff which means this is less likely to tangle or give you wind knots. "Experienced fisherman" can buy something more expensive but it works fine as intro to braid. I put it on one of my son's reels because it was cheap last year.

I've had great luck with the KastKing braided line. The 8-braid is silky smooth, and the 4-braid is a bit rougher and good when a bad cast gets you caught in a tree.
