Isn't 21 gauge steel quite thin? It looks like the equivalent craftsman and harbor freight ones are 18 gauge.

Picked one up last weekend, rivals the big box brands at the $400 price point. No regrets

Looks fairly YMMV, not a single costco in my half of the state has them in store (8 stores). It is showing $299.99 as the price though.

I saw it at Costco, played with the demo unit. It felt GREAT! The drawers had solid rails.
I didn't look up if these have any long term reviews, but my initial impression was better than the demo units you see at Home Depot

Got one for myself at this price the other day. Feels sturdy and looks sharp. Rochester NY Costco.

Great deal, but I wish it had 3 small drawers on each side instead of 2 small drawers and 2 long ones. I paid $400 for Home Depot's version and I like the ability to organize a bit more. That said, I would have picked this up at $300 if I had seen it a month ago.

Great deal, bought one for my dad. The setup was pretty easy. Removing the drawers from the rails was easy and made the unit way lighter.

How does this compare in terms of price and quality to the similar offerings from HF/HomeDepot/Lowes?

I have two of these paired with some husky heavy duty cabinets and these toolboxes are definitely higher quality than the husky stuff. If I had room in the garage for more I'd buy another

I had two employees help load into my mini SUV. It was easy to unload by myself at home
