They are espresso that's why
Wait, I thought Vertuo was the big pods. For coffee, not espresso. The pics also show them as the big pods not the mini espresso ones.
Vertuo has 4-5 different sized pods which include espresso style and larger drip styles. They're all tasty but considering the pods are the most expensive on the market I prefer the bigger pods.
The preview pic is distorted, but it's the small espresso pods. Vertuos can make 5 different size drinks, depending on the machine you have.

I hate Nespresso trying to be all "European" and using the term coffee and espresso interchangeably. As I understand it: espresso is like a coffee shot. Coffee is a big cup.
So I cannot use these to brew a US cup of coffee. As a non-coffee drinker (i'm a Coke zero guy), I'm done trying to order these things for my coffee-drinking wife.
