I have a 512gb of this in my Switch 1 right now and it works great.
You can also find some reviews through Amazon that confirm it works with a Switch 1.

Holy heck this is a good deal. I remember when I first got my Steamdeck I was looking at $130'ish for 1gb cards.

Good option for switch 2?

Switch 2 requires the newer express micro sd cards.

I just tried with my 512gb card of this model (EVO/microSDXC) and it does NOT work on the switch 2.

A screen comes up saying "This microSD card can't be read or isn't compatible with this system.
Nintendo Switch 2 requires a microSD Express card."

The cards the Switch 2 uses will have either 'express' or 'ex' printed directly onto the cards themselves.

It does, Switch can handle up to 2TB, so this is fine. Also prefer buying from B&H, less having to worry about fakes from Amazon.

I want some extra storage for Mac, would this be a good choice or Sandisk SSD is better?

The question indicates this person has a very limited understanding of the Swtich 2's hardware changes. Introducing a Mig Switch into the equation is beyond the realm.

Too bad Android phones don't take micro sd cards anymore, this would be an instant buy.
