I'm pretty happy with my Craftsman screwdrivers I initially bought as a sacrificial set. The tips are quite good for the price. The handles hold up to mallet and deadblow strikes as well.

You should have zero #2 Philips head screwdrivers and replace it with a JIS2 screwdriver. The JIS screwdriver fit Philips screws fine, but most importantly fits JIS. Ever work on a Honda or Toyota or some asian electronic part and inexplicably strip the head of what looked like a normal Philips screw, even though you were so careful not to? It's because a Philips screwdriver does not seat into a JIS screw, and will guarantee you strip it into a round divot. A JIS should be your sole + shaped screwdriver.

Totally false. The old western forge made screwdrivers are very basic compared to these.

Thank You for the Info. Yes I have Toyotas and yes, I have stripped the screw heads out.... I had no idea there was a different "Philips +" type.
I will buy a JIS2 screwdriver to add to my collection.

The new Phillips standard has incorporated and superseded the old JIS classification, so any high quality modern Phillips will fit your Toyota's screws.
