It is fantastic watch for the price. I am tempted, even though I have a dozen watches, and this one will not make it into my regular rotation.

Note that Powermatic 80.811 movement got some flakes due to plastic parts (high-quality polymer) and the use of 3Hz beats per second, as opposed to 4Hz in ETA movements, which provide more continuous sweeping seconds. The upside of 3Hz is 80 hours power reserve.

Anyway, recommended and Repped.

I should have included the source.
"For example, The Tissot Luxury line has the Powermatic 80.111 with 23 jewels and uses plastic parts."

I think you are right. Powermatic 80.811 movement may not have any plastic parts. Anyway, it is a good Swiss Automatic watch at a good price. As I stated, recommended.

What kills me is how they used plastic to save a few cents especially when the markup is so high on watches. They can call it high-quality polymer all they want, it doesn't have the same properties as metal and will not last as long.
