Bought this last time it was posted to SD for $24 direct from sofirn.

Solid thrower, 9/10. Can easily throw 200-300 ft imo if not more.

No fancy UI. Doubleclick to turbo.

Excellent light.

For non-flashlight people, just be aware that this is designed for lighting up things far away. Not the best choice for around the house or walking the dogs probably.

Decent for this price, but if you're not looking for something that's basically almost pocketable, and want a better thrower that won't dim from high/turbo as quickly, the Wurkkos TD01C for $12ish more on Amazon is a much better light imo. I have both.

FYI Sofirn's parent company, Jinba, also manufactures flashlights for Wurkkos, which is independent.

That would help explain why SD has gotten spammed by both of them lately.

Hey just out of curiosity, does this thing have a magnetic back or magnetic capabilities?

Hey Sofirn: don't assume we're stupid just because you get slaves and bots and third-world laborers to fluff your brand. Stop cluttering SD with your spam, OK?

Is there a reason why you're shitting on every Sofirn post? If people find it to be a bad product, they'll downvote it. Many enjoy it. Move along now.

negatory.

The Sofirn website itself also does not show a magnetic tail cap, any magnetic capabilities or or any tail switch either for this one specifically.

That said, there are many sofirn lights with tail cap capabilities so it was definitely a valid question.

This one in particular has a indented tail cap. Alternatively you can just take a magnet and glue it onto the back of the tailcap and make your own light with magnetic tail cap capabilities.

So I did some "research" with the light and with various magnet hooks in my house and this 80lb magnet one (if you can somehow get the casing off) should fit the exact 27mm width of this tailcap after which you can then superglue it onto the back to make your own magnetic tail cap.... possibly.

That said, the magnetic hook is several millimeters thick and does seem to be quite difficult of a job to DIY to remove the magnet housing but the magnet should be almost flush inside the indented tailcap of the IF22a or so i hope! If not you'll have a lot of magnetic hooks to use - I just stick them on my fridge so I put my bottle cap openers and whatever misc tools on the side of my fridge (i.e. pocket knives, keys, etc.)

Good price for this excellent thrower. Especially when it comes with a li-ion 21700 battery.

I owned one of these for a couple of years, and it was my favorite outdoor light. It's fairly tightly focused. Great for spotting rabbits, or coons up in trees. I'm about to order another if this deal is still live when I get home in a couple of days.

Not sure what makes this slick over the 5100lm one for $26 that was the first alternative I looked at on this products page. Same brand

He won't move along. Pretty pathetic. I blocked him.
