If you buy this, just know that no real hikers or backpackers use hokas. It's a Boomer shoe that's all marketing no substance. Produced in Santa Barbara, California, which is Boomer Ville.

Is this sarcasm? I'm a backpacker who uses Speedgoats all the time. They just brought me to the top of Kilimanjaro. They're just about as good as trail runners get.

I don't know how people transition into Hokas. I started wearing them, then got shin pain, and ended up in a boot. Not a knock on these, but they can be different enough from what you wear today to cause issues.
