I've heard everything from "Ryobi bits are trash" to seeing a video where project farm said they were the best bang for the buck. I'm a huge Ryobi person but I bought makita bits because they were highly acclaimed. Never heard about these diamond bits though. Does anybody know?

There isn't a brand of bit I haven't broken. Adjust your expectations, or be more cautious. I just buy all of them when on a big discount.

I've never had to be cautious with Milwaukee or Bosch bits. The eventuality of breakage is much more eminent with the Ryobi ones. Cheap up front, but more expensive in the long run. If your use case is assembling furniture or small projects around the house, these will work, but don't apply them for anything heavier duty than that.

But, Only 12 of the bits are actually Diamond coated.

In my view, Impact Drivers are the best things since canned beer for fasteners, but I'd never use them on straight, phillips, or square bits. Impact Drivers excel at internal & external hex bits as well as torx bits.
So true, but I use them on Phillips when I know I won't need to take them out. Typically shreds those to pieces.
