This is a better deal than the 4 pack for $5 the other day. Add in the S&S and get extra 5% off for $9 + tax for 12 balls. Great deal.

How do these compare to x40?

Below is from Google ai
———————-

Warping Point outdoor pickleball balls, specifically the 4-pack, have received mixed reviews on Reddit. While some users report them playing well and being durable, even comparing them favorably to more expensive options like Onix. However, a significant number of users on the Pickleball subreddit have reported issues with the balls warping, even in moderate temperatures.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Positive Feedback:
Good Playability: Some users find the Warping Point balls to play well, with a good bounce and feel, especially when compared to other brands.
Durability: A few users on Amazon have noted the balls are durable and hold up well.
Price: Compared to other brands like Onix, Warping Point balls are seen as a more affordable option, especially for casual players.
Negative Feedback:
Warping Issues:
The most common complaint is that the balls warp easily, even within a single game or rally, and can become out of round.
Unpredictable Bounce:
Warping can lead to inconsistent and unpredictable bounces, making it difficult to play accurately.
Durability Concerns:
While some users find them durable, others report that they warp and deform quickly, especially under normal play.
Temperature Sensitivity:
Some users note that the balls are more prone to warping in warmer temperatures.
In Conclusion:
Warping Point outdoor pickleball balls are a mixed bag. They can be a good option for casual players who want a decent, affordable ball, but the warping issues are a significant concern for those who prioritize consistency and durability. If you're considering these balls, it might be worth trying a smaller pack to see how they perform for your specific playing style and conditions before committing to a larger purchase.

Not just any X40, but the yellow one. I always offer my lava red X40 at open play though. Nobody wants to use em, so my pack of 12 is now down to a pack of 10 after 8 months. Best purchase ever

Don't bother with any other ball but the Franklin X-40 if you play in public rec groups. People won't play with anything but them.

The issue with these from previous comments is that these balls warp. They are called Warping Point and they have problems warping? You can't make it up.

It's S1 in my neck of the woods. Players turn their noses at x40s and will walk off the court if anyone pulls out a joola ball.
