Sorry had to go on the web since on mobile doesn't let me share pics, here's the one I use for my Xbox series s. Can be used on the switch if anyone is wondering.
Need this deal but for a series x case
There's a review from the best buy product page that states the strap both helps you remove the Xbox and keeps it strapped in. Dual purpose strap. High ratings for the product on best buy. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/r...source=PDP

What's stopping the console from moving around if you don't have the controllers on the other side of the soft barrier?

The velcro strap, I presume.

The one on the front of the case picture is to lift the xbox out of the case. It does attach to the flat board above it but there looks like there'd be plenty of room for the xbox to move from side A to side B if there is not enough on top of the case

If someone wants a more protective case I would suggest the Apache cases they sell in harbor freight, with coupons you can get it in the low 20s including tax. Might be overkill but for sure you'll know it won't get damaged as it uses foam to hold it and it waterproof, I use it on my Xbox s series as it's the only console that's slim and portable other than the switch (also use a case for it 😅)

I've had a couple different ones I've used for holding various delicate items and haven't broken anything yet. I really like the pull-a-part foam they come with.

The case in this deal looks solid though. Now... if only I had a Series S.

Large is the one I use, see top post I shared which is the Apache 3800. It not on sale right now, but it often does and can be used with coupons for low 20s including tax. Was supposed to use plasti dip to strengthen the foam and make it look better but never had the chance to do it.

Yeah I travel alot for work, it's not practical to take beefier consoles like ps5 and Xbox x. So the series s is perfect to take to hotels, or out of town events it's good for 1 player games or non competitive. Now for me I found out the hard way the tvs in the hotels are trash so don't take it anymore and had to invest into a gaming pc laptop lol.
