This tablet is identical in speed to my CHEAP chinese tablet (iplay60 mini turbo... SD 6 Gen1 and has USBC to HDMI out, while the screen is IPS it is also 8.4" which is my favorite size) which cost $130 before the Trump Tariffs, now $180 on Amazon.
Point is, there is no value in this Sammy product.
I see this being MAYBE worth $250.
Quality, to me is on spot. Stability... yah, I find these Chinese tablets to be more stable then Samsung's due to the amount to bloatware that Samsung installs and the Chinese Tablets are usually stock... specifically the iplay60 mini turbo. And you can search that model on Amazon to get the best price but before Trump it was $130.
The value is INSANE... SD 6 Gen 1, USB-C 3.1 (does HDMI out) and now you can use the device as a TV box, 8GB, 128GB. AND YES, the screen is 8.4" IPS 400NITS (good enough but I crave for a flagship screen)
And sometimes it is not about price and me... I love small tablets and this year we are suppose to see a few. First up was launched a few days ago. Bad news. No video via USBC out.
I gave my Tab S9 to my kid and I ended up purchasing the iplay60 mini turbo which is a 8.4" tablet and is identical speed to the Tab S9 FE but it has USB-C 3.1 so it does usb-c to hdmi out.
I like a small tablet so I like the iplay60 mini turbo the best BUT it is lacking in screen quality when compared to the Tab S9. I am using the iplay60 mini turbo as my daily driver.
When I am ready, I will buy the RedMagic 9" OLED tablet.
The Tab S9 FE+ is not a good tablet!!!! Giant leap with the Tab S10 FE+... but still get the Tab S9 or Tab S9+ or Tab S9 ultra for the high end specs are worth the extra $50.00 on craigslist or facebookmarketplace or kijiiji or other second hand market sites.
