I own one. It stopped working properly. Specifically, it never stops freeze drying even after the food is finished. When I run it, it runs for days and days and finally I stop it because it is taking too much time. When I stop it, the food is fully dried. I paid money for help from tech support. I tried all suggestions but eventually got so worn down from the worthless suggestions that I gave up trying to fix it with assistance from HR tech support. My problem is that the firmware should determine when the food is finished drying, but it does not do that. The firmware is closed source. That makes it impossible to determine why it will not work properly. It is my opinion, but I do not know for certain, that the issue possibly is planned obsolescence coded by the manufacturer in the firmware so you are forced to buy a new unit, which kicks in sometimes after the warranty expires. I've tested the temps using remote thermometers, I've tested the pressures using yellow jacket HVAC equipment, checked for leaks, everything. After ruling everything out, the only explanation left in my mind is the firmware is coded to make the unit fail.

These units do not run until the food is "dry". They run for a set amount of time that you choose. I've been using multiples of the large size for years with no issues. You sound like you are the problem. The firmware is not set up to know when the food is dry. That is not an option. How would it possibly know when the food is dry. Holy hell man.

Ordered June 19 midday and was cancelled due to it being out of stock. Doesn't look like the page for the medium is even up anymore.

Mine has a confirmed delivery time for tomorrow, so it'll arrive in less than a week. Definitely looks like the link is dead now though.

My car is broken. It doesn't stop when I arrive home. I have to step on the brakes and put it in park for it to stop.
