16" is practically a toy. Only usable for postage stamp lawns in say a rowhome.

I had 16" Greenworks and upgraded with their 20". While 20" is better because it cuts wider, it is also worse because it struggles with tall grass - there is not enough power. It also eats batteries like crazy. I need to use two to cut my grass while needed only one with 16". IMHO, whoever uses battery lawn mowers may be totally fine with 16", otherwise you may consider going gas unless you want to buy a bunch of batteries for anything bigger than a very small yard
