Turned out it wasn't screwed in far enough. Duh.
hah, I had that issue too, I unscrewed it to lube the threads (I use superlube) and when it screwed it back up, same issue... that spring is pretty strong as well

I wouldn't buy a 6000K - I do have ONE, a compact thrower/pencil beam, but only because it isn't offered in anything warmer. I may replace the LED if they don't release one with a better color temperature, and if so, I'd go for 4000K for any bare LED I'd purchase.

I just tried my Q8+ out, the 6500, and it's not a bad color like I was thinking it might be. So fvcking bright it doesn't matter lol.
Im gonna wait for the SP36 in 5000.
