Isn't this way overpriced for a no name brand. Or is it good brand I am unaware of?

DREO is ULTRA Quality......I own 2 already as well as at least 10 other fans like lasko......DREO is by far the best.
I bought one, and look forward to now owning 3

I replaced a Vornado with a Dreo, and I've been a Vornado fan boy (pun intended) for many years.

Dreo is considered by many to be equal or better than vornado. Dreo is definitely a name brand

However, the msrp listed on walmart site is beyond bs. Similar style (but slight step up in specs) dreo is $80 on amazon (normal price)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MKPDJRT
So this is normal to slightly elevated pricing

Dreo actually had good standing when tested by the YouTuber "Project Farm", he did a full evaluation on multiple fans. This stood second behind the Levoit. Worth checking out the video if you're shopping around.

It was actually better than the Levoit, but scored second place because it tips over easier than then Leviot. The Dreo was better otherwise.

No, it does not blow "cooled air"

Had mine for years and use it in the home office which
filters out most mid to high frequency noises.

MSRP is a lie. bought for the same price two years ago. it lasted 60 days then developed an awful grind and click. support from Dreo wanted photos, videos, disassembly and other stuff to prove it was doing that.

Project Farm just tested a bunch of these tower fans and the Dreo came out in 2nd place in overall score. Granted, the model he tested was 007 and this deal is 006. I am not sure what the differences are.

I have the Dreo Pilot Max S and it was well over $100. I bought it with the probability that I was going to return it. WOW was I impressed. I really did not think I would ever pay over $100 for a fan. But this fan is very powerful and very quiet. I really am not sure if I could sleep without it anymore. Definitely worth the $100 I spent for it. I can control it from the bed by app or remote.
