I bought it for less than $10 about 5 years ago and it's been one of the best purchases I've ever made in terms of entertainment value. The graphics are good, the game modes are pretty fun, and with the celebration edition you don't have to unlock skins/emotes. Wednesdays are triple XP and weekends are double XP so you can level up your guys pretty quickly. I still jump on probably twice a month and don't have issues finding games.

Game is having all time highs, supposedly they fixed it. Nice of evil, shitty, monstrous EA to actually put on a good sale at a time like this.

lol I had a friend who said this exact thing, about EA "fixing" this game. They redid the progression in 2018 and the game has been on sale repeatedly since 2019 for $5 or less. Epic gave it away years ago.

One of the worst games I ever paid full price for. If I recall it may be the first that EA also forced microtransactions down everyone's throat.

I own it on Epic, any different than owning it on Steam?

It was, but they completely overhauled it. One of the best games now. One of my absolute favorites.

Fantastic game with no micro transactions. Passionate community with many online guides to learn any quirks and use them to your advantage. PC has extensive mods available to enhance the experience. Most people playing are dumb as rocks and using basic strategy will immediately put you ahead of 75% of the player base. And some others are REALLY good at this game so just watch them play and follow along and you'll be fine.

You'll feel a sense of pride and accomplishment owning it on both.

(I love this game)
