Might pick up one of these for backup in case my 9800x3d pops a second time.

For those who don't have a MicroCenter nearby, it's available from Newegg for $20 more, but you get a free 512GB SSD thrown in

I bought one of these like a month ago for a new build for like 189 bucks or something and it's been great. Seems like a great deal for 160 bucks, too bad it's impossible to find a MC around here.

You're going to spend $160 on a CPU to keep in the box in case something you spent $400 on breaks?

Instead, why don't you just save your money and spend $180 on this CPU same-day if your 9800 actually breaks?

Don't blame the player, blame the game (slickdeal). It's the slickdeals effect 😉
