The problem is usually only when the seller isn't actually AAFES. This deal, like many others, is from another vender that they call an Exchange Plus Partner. AAFES has no idea about inventory levels for these sellers.

I gave them 5 different credit cards. All of them failed with message "Sorry, payment cannot be authorized at this time. CONUS customers please call 1-877-891-7827 (STAR). OCONUS customers click here for your specific contact information." I called and they said the wait time is 5 minutes. I waited for an hour, no answer at all. I called again, scheduled a call back, and waited for a day. No call back from them. Awful service, especially when their customers are active military and veterans.

I got that as well. But then got a text message from my bank asking if it was me making the charge. I replied yes. The charge should go through after trying again. Apparently AAFES / Shop My Exchange had a major data breach per Reddit posts. Hackers were making fraudulent charges with stolen credit card info stored on their site. They were purchasing multiple iPads. I'm not surprised the store is blacklisted by banks. I decided not to go through with the purchase.

I ordered one on June 1st. It was clearly in stock according to website (out of stock won't let you order). Two days later my ordered said back ordered and certain colors were out of stock to order new ones. It took about 5 days to say it was going to ship and be delivered on or before June 13th. . Shipped on June 8th. Had it delivered on June 11th.

Thinking I picked an out of stock color I ordered another on day 2 and the same thing happened but I ended up cancelling when I got ship notification.
