The coconut in this is terrible though, texture is like plastic and same for taste.

Too much added sugar, IMO. Note the "sweetened" in front of 4 items above. That is all added sugar.

And for some unknown reason, someone forgot to add sugar to the coconut!

I got a few of these (different mix/flavor) at the start of May and expiration date for both is Sept this year. Assuming the same, it's at least ~4 months.

Single serving (1/4 cup) contains 13g of sugar, of which 4g is added sugar, which isn't a lot. Problem is most people will eat much more than 1/4 cup at a time.

Ys, serving size is a big scam that companies use tolower the number of calories, sugar, fat, etc. that they have to report on the label.

These fruits are already naturally sweet. Why do they need more sugar?

There is too much damn sugar added to everything, most for no good purpose. Just the other day I discovered that most (all?) bouillon cubes have sugar added while looking for some cubes on Amazon! Why? I imagine the taster developing the product taking a sip and saying, I think this chicken broth needs some SUGAR. Say what?

Problem is 1/4 cup is a joke on this as it isn't a dense 1/4 cup at all. Of course people are going to eat more than a serving, there's friggen' 38 servings to the bag which is insane.

Got 2 of these a while ago, added sugar for that small quantity is a lot/ton, not to mention the 13g of 'natural' sugar is about as close as you can get to added sugar.

It's like 80% raisins in these things. Avoid at all costs IMO

agreed, I try to mix with other nuts or plain cereal. definitely serving size should be 1 cup.
