I absolutely love these things and use a variety of them for misc fabrication, blade & tool finish work, handle sanding, surface prep, paint removal, even beveling and polishing. But this price point is dumb, especially when you lose all of the advantages of a small detail sander like this when it weighs a ton and has a PIA housing to fight when changing belts.
-WEN has a $40ish wired version on amazon and is the sweet spot for torque / weight imo. They also have a battery model but I would rather buy extra wired versions and use an AC battery pack for field work than have more random proprietary batteries and chargers to wrangle.
-Harbor Freight has a wired Bauer version at $50ish with much more torque, but is on the heavier side.
-Ryobi makes a battery model for around $100. It's a brushed motor so not as robust as the Dewalt or wired options, but also not as heavy.
Belts aren't stocked widely, and harbor freight ones are insanely priced for some reason. But plenty of amazon vendors and abrasive makers sell them relatively cheap.

That's what I bought. I haven't used it a lot, but for $35 it has been worth it. Not a problem that it's corded since I use it in my shop doing metal work.
