Just used this camping last week, paired with a good size power station, and it worked great. Game changer for not needing ice and having everything soggy in a cooler.

I drive a lot for work and hobbies. I have this as the center console of my work vehicle and love it. keep my lunches, bottles of water for me and my guys, and if I want to grab something while out. I dont have to worry about getting home right away to get it in the fridge.

Keep in mind that a lot of people end up getting one size larger so they can fit something like a bottle of milk upright without putting it diagonal.

For the trip we are going on next week i am doing something similar but precooking and freezing our meals in gallon ziplocs. Our site has an electric hookup so i plan to reheat everything in the instant pot. But if we camp in the future we wont always have electric hookups to do stuff like this either
I boondock with 2 electric coolers. One is an EcoFlow Glacier 1st gen refurbished that I hook a solar panel directly to 200 watt solar panel and the other I plug into 12v cigarette lighter that I installed into my RV. These are definitely a game changer. They weigh the same as a Yeti or Rtic loaded with ice but perform better.
Edit: I cook everything on a Blackstone on a plastic table, with the cooler underneath which is essentially my outdoor kitchen.

Good lord how big is your center console area? 😂 That would be a nice car mod though.

These are super fun, make it a fridge or a freezer, it will pay for itself in no time. Ice cream where it doesn't belong! A cold water when needed easy! Don't forget you can add something to the cooler when you remove something. You're not trying to store 2 weeks worth of cool water at once.....

Dumb question here, is it best to use the DC or AC outlet on power station?

Those 12v dc refrigerators use dc natively, to use a power station's ac outlet to power them is just wasting your battery.
