I'm all for homemade peanut butter, but PB2 and other powders are made from defatted peanuts (i.e., after pressing the oil out), which may not be feasible to do at home.

People say the same about Taco Bell, but all it means in that instance is that their bloodline is weak and they are a genetic dead-end.

It's high calorie (190 cal and 20g protein) for a protein powder compared to whey , but it also has super clear/simple ingredients. It's basically ground peanuts with 2.5x the protein from rice. Would probably be great in oatmeal.

I have oral allergy syndrome that's especially triggered by lentils and tree nuts. My wife is dairy intolerant. I've been looking for an affordable protein booster we can both have. While not as good as either separately. Worth it to share ingredients. Thanks!

I have used the pb2 in my oatmeal for my peanutbutter fix, but I'll give this a go for the addional protein. Most protein powders don't work well in oatmeal so hopefully this will do the trick.

Quote from PetSpy :
psa: if you really depend on such stuff for protein, maybe invest in a blender, grinder or food processor, because raw shelled (red skin) peanuts (in nyc) are only $1.34/lbs and easy to air fry roast yourself.
That gets you homemade peanut butter with four times the fat of this product. Grinding peanuts does not make peanut butter powder.

Not great macros for protein powder. Truthfully I'm not familiar with vegan powders,so maybe it's more in line with those products.
Thats called bidding against yourself.

Thanks OP! I bought the almond one. I plan on adding it to almond milk, along with my cold brew and ice to have a high protein almond frappe in the morning!
