They do not increase the price of the trips. That is just not reality.
You can only order once every 14 days. As long as you're beyond that, you shouldn't have any issues. If you do, you'll probably have to reach out to Costco. In the past my account had some kind of flag on it so I couldn't order anything online for some reason.
Agreed I use my work phone for work uber trips and other than a little difference like cents even for a 60 dollar airport trip they pretty much the same. I book about 100 plus trips a year for the past 6 years and don't see really any difference. I only use gift cards for my personal phone.

I wonder if the deal makes sense if using uber since gift cards increase the price of trips but if you use it for uber eats it shouldn't adjust the price.

Seriously, they raise the price depending on payment method?

I was going to 'joke' that a 25% discount on Eats would give just about normal pricing after the higher price and tip.

This is not always true. I have had simultaneous requests with and without GCs on separate phones, and prices are very similar. Sometimes not.

What if I have rides to and from the airport reserved and I go in and change the payment method to a gift card? It's not going to change the price then, is it?

Should not...but ymmv...one thing i noticed is to the airport for me it was around 75 (XL) but coming back was 140. Neither was close to peak times, both reserved 2 days in advance. I ended up renting a car for the return from the airport. I should have checked the return, i expected about the same price, not 2x.

"Limit of 1 Transaction, with a Maximum of 2 Units Per Membership Every 14 Days"

Does this mean it can't be used for a round trip - going to and from an appt? I don't want to buy 2 certificates as I don't know if or when I'll need Uber again.

It means you should check out the UberEats app too.
