Concentrated is a way to sell more because many consumers think they have to use more than what the manufacturer says to use. And the reality is that less is more with detergent. Unless your clothes are really dirty and there is a lot of them, you don't need to use the recommended amount. I don't use concentrated detergent and the amount I use for most loads is about half of what they recommend and clothes turn out clean. If you are a mechanic or an arborist then by all means use the recommended amount and pretreat.

I'm confused. Walmart has 150 oz persil but states 96 loads for 19.97 and there is a $5 Walmart cash available for me making is $14.97 after Walmart cash. How is the Walmart deal more oz. but less loads?

This is concentrated while the 150 oz Persil at Walmart, you are referring to, is not.

Yeah. Same as those little laundry pods... super concentrated, with little water...

Yeah, calculate cost per load always (not ounce)

Thanks. The labels do look the same but the Amazon description does say concentrated. Go figure.

I've been lucky for the most part. The upside is they refund you and sometimes you can still get out with an almost full bottle of detergent for free lol.

So did I. The cost per ounce was less on the smaller bottle by a couple cent. I'm trying to stock up in case we start seeing price increases. I do a LOT of laundry.

Amazon cs used to be generous and very much focused on customer needs but I think they have gone full on $hit now and rarely do anything useful.

I see a lot of complaints but I haven't had any issues personally. Then again my household uses it a lot (disabled) so maybe they look at spending habits lol. Idk. But if they start giving me a hard time I would stop buying as well.
