Deal = below market value. If a car was $100,000 MSRP and hardly any dealership has it in stock. becomes available for a good day or a few hours, then it's a deal when market value/demand is a lot more than $100,000 out of little availability. You can down vote the post (which is a perfectly fine opinion) if you want. The system still sells out on each restock and probably will be the case for the next few weeks if not months. Some people will say Nintendo is doing artificial scarcity or scalpers snatched up stock/inventory. But the resellers showing mostly $50 higher than MSRP shows only 10% markup which seems to indicate scalpers aren't really making money. People being patient about finding one are being rewarded. I think Nintendo did a decent job preventing the scalping during launch. This is a huge contrast compared to the PS5/Xbox Series X launch.
