I got this deal except I chose the Z890 Lightning Wifi. Do you think I made a good choice or is the Pro RS Wifi better?
Subtotal was $369.98 with this motherboard so same price.

They are trying to dump stock that isn't selling.

I googled and found that the Lightning Wifi is better.
Better VRM, Wifi 7, toolless m.2 with heatsinks, and better audio chipset.

Upgrade, keeping my 3060 12GB as long as I can. Coming from an i5-11400.

Cheapest was with steel legend mb (pretty much the same as lighting) for $360. decent deal for non gaming desktops. I don't know why only the ultra 7 is discounted so heavily. It's even cheaper than ultra 5

I want the 265k so I can reduce my electricity bill. unfortunately the kf doesn't have igpu, so running through a graphics card will cause a greater than necessary expense.

I run it with rtx 4060 on my non gaming desktop. The GPU only pulls 100w max and it's good for AI and video workloads

I mean for the 90% of the time I'm not using it, but keep it running as a server. apparently just keeping an HDMI cable in the GPU will prevent it from going into a deep sleep.

How big of a difference would this make upgrading from a i3 12100?
