It's hard to give you an opinion without knowing the kind of games that you are into. These could be the greatest games in the world, but if you aren't into the genre of games that they are, you wouldn't like them no matter what we say.

Ruiner looks like a fun sorta bird's eye view shooter/beatem up that is Play Anywhere compatible (xbox/pc)

Gato Roboto looks like Megaman but a cat and looks just as challenging

Pikuniku looks like an odd puzzle game where the characters don't have arms and has local co-op

Stories Untold looks like a text based thriller/adventure game with puzzles with 4 adventures

I'll grab Ruiner if the Steam Summer Sale doesn't drop it to this price

Pikuniku is a really fun and quirky platformer. Easily worth $2.

None of these titles are pushing hardware in any big way to begin with. Not sure what you are specifically referring to by asking about "next gen?" Most games from this point forward will continue to be compatible as Xbox trends more towards a PC platform (machines running a common OS and upgrading performance over time).

The next Xbox is targeting a 2027 release date. That's hardly "soon", and the rumor is that with the current tariffs and everything, the next Xbox could cost gamers over $1,000. So, not many people are going to be in a hurry to upgrade. And, if this generation of gaming is anything like the last generation, they will still be making Xbox Series S/X versions of games for three or four years after the Next Xbox comes out.

Stories untold is great. It's like an old 80's anthology show but it's not action packed it's puzzle-y.
